  • CP3 Projects Included in AMIA Data Science Workshop

    NIDA Program Officer Tamara Haegerich invited several grant recipients to lead a sold out workshop at the American Medical Informatics Association’s 2023 Informatics Summit. Dr. Jon Arnold presented the CP3 project mPROVEN, and former CP3 postdoc Dr. Jenny Lo-Ciganic discussed her companion project DEMONSTRATE.

Improving the Quality, Safety and Efficiency of Medication Use

While prescription drugs are used by 80% of Americans, the improper, unsafe use of medications leads to billions of dollars of avoidable healthcare costs. The goal of the CP3 research program is to improve patient and prescriber decision-making, and inform the regulation and coverage of pharmaceuticals.
