CP3 Affiliated faculty member Dr. Utibe Essien was one of the front line Black doctors who spoke to Forbes about their experiences caring for patients during a pandemic that is disproportionately affecting Black communities, as well as during the aftermath of George Floyd's murder. "I can’t breathe wondering if the protests, the emails, the kneeling, and the outrage will finally be enough this time, or if in another five years will I be in the same position, helplessly looking for the words," Dr. Essien said.
