Claire Josey, BS

Claire Josey is a Research Coordinator for Dr. Jing Luo’s HumAn-1 study, a randomized controlled trial comparing insulin glargine, a long-acting analogue insulin, against human insulin among youth living with Type 1 Diabetes in Tanzania and Bangladesh. Claire graduated summa cum laude from Grove City College with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology, where she was a leader for the Tri-Beta Biological Honors Society and several service organizations. She was a 2022 Undergraduate Research Fellow at Duquesne University.

In her free time, Claire enjoys visiting coffee shops around Pittsburgh, attending symphony and opera performances, baking bread, and running.
